Powin’s Hardware Engineering team is seeking a Project Manager to help deliver our industry leading system level products to market on time, in budget and meeting specifications. This role reports directly to the VP of Hardware Engineering. The Project Manager will be a key member of Powin’s team and will work with product managers, hardware engineers, QA engineers and software engineers to manage projects to their schedules and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple, concurrent hardware and business projects.
  • Coordinate all aspects of project planning and execution including scope, schedule, budget, technical resources, and communications.
  • Work with product management and engineering to capture requirements and ensure the project meets all requirements as part of the design.
  • Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing to identify long lead time parts and priorities for design to meet schedule and quality goals.
  • Manage schedule and design change requests to understand impact to project.
  • Provide regular status reports to customers, management, and internal stakeholders in the U.S. about individual and interdependent projects.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2- 5 years’ experience managing Hardware Project Management required.
  • Experience with complex product development involving mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills.
  • PMP certification preferred.
